The beautiful countryside around Norrick Peak is also world famous for bird watching and attracts numerous keen Birders from all over the globe. Its nature has also been filmed by the BBC's Sir David Attenborough. In fact the American Museum of Natural History has its Southwest Research Station only minutes away.
